Hey there! We’re the Aina family—Kola, Olivia, Eunice, Neah, and little Sunny. We’ve been in Taiwan with YWAM Taipei for over a decade now, loving life, raising our kids, and walking out this crazy adventure of missions.

We got into this as young people desperate to know Jesus, and that journey led us into missions. Now, we’re excited to see a new generation in Taiwan rise up—young people who know Jesus, love Him deeply, and are ready to take the gospel to the nations. Taiwan is stepping into a new season where frontier and cross-cultural missions are becoming more of a focus, and it’s an incredible time to be here, pouring into young people and helping equip them to go.

Day to day, Kola’s all over the place (in a good way). He serves as the Director of Training at YWAM Taipei, working with churches, media, training programs, and the Chinese language learning team. Worship is also a big part of his life, and before Taiwan, he was a fellowship pastor in Boston, so discipleship is always at the core of what he does.

Olivia is the heartbeat of our family and community. She runs the Member Care course, keeps our kids alive (and thriving), and leads a family small group at our church. She’s got a gift for making people feel seen and cared for, whether that’s in ministry or just in everyday life.

Eunice and Neah are loving school and growing up fast, and Sunny? She’s just the happiest little girl,always making us laugh.

When we’re not doing missions work, we’re usually caught up in the little things that make life here feel like home. Kola loves music production and spends a lot of time behind a guitar or mixing tracks. He also coaches volleyball at the kids’ school, which is a fun way to be involved in the local community. Olivia is all about DIY projects—she’s super creative, though she’ll be the first to tell you she doesn’t love cooking (even though she’s actually great at it).

At the end of the day, we just love Taiwan and its people. Our heart is to see young people here encounter Jesus, get equipped, and go out into the nations. We’re passionate about what God is doing in Taiwan, and we’d love to connect, share stories, and partner together however we can.
